Rudo grows up in the slums of a floating city where the wealthy toss their waste into the abyss below, never caring where it lands. When he is falsely accused of murder, he’s sentenced to the ultimate punishment, thrown over the edge like garbage. On the surface, he discovers a hellish landscape overrun by monstrous creatures born from discarded human waste. To survive and uncover the truth behind his conviction, Rudo must wield a newfound power and join the Cleaners, a group fighting to reclaim the Pit from its towering trash beasts.
