Hugo is a young man desperately trying to reopen the beloved bakery left behind by his late grandfather, Adam. There is just one massive problem: Hugo is completely terrible at baking bread. His luck seems to change when Sumino Mitsuyuki, his grandfather's talented former apprentice, suddenly walks through the door. Despite his personal dislike for the man, Hugo swallows his pride and begs Sumino to help revive the shop, only to discover a shocking truth: Sumino hasn't baked a single loaf of bread in three long years.
